Dean of Development and Quality Assurance

General Objective

Assisting the Dean in managing quality processes and accreditations, contributing to enhancing the quality of educational outcomes, and ensuring continuous development and improvement.

Responsibilities

  1. Implementing the approved plans, programs, and budget of the Agency’s activities.
  2. Proposing plans and projects to meet quality assurance and accreditation standards, suggesting the necessary organizational and procedural regulations, and overseeing their implementation.
  3. Participating in the design, development, and review of quality assurance and continuous improvement programs for all university activities.
  4. Measuring and analyzing the quality of services and productivity periodically, comparing them with set standards, and preparing related reports.
  5. Following up on the evaluation of academic programs to ensure compliance with quality standards, and coordinating with relevant parties for continuous improvement.
  6. Contributing to the proposal, organization, and holding of meetings, seminars, and conferences specializing in quality.
  7. Participating in planning, coordinating, and executing tasks required to meet the requirements of quality-related bodies for all university activities.
  8. Contributing to conducting statistical studies on the quality of academic education outputs, research outputs, and university education development processes.
  9. Assisting in preparing reports on program outcomes assessment and performance evaluation, reviewing and analyzing them, and discussing the results with stakeholders.
  10. Participating in setting, reviewing, and continuously developing performance measurement standards for all activities related to the Deanship.
  11. Overseeing electronic archiving, organization, and preservation of the Agency’s documents to facilitate retrieval and utilization.
  12. Assisting in identifying the Agency’s needs for human resources, equipment, and materials, and following up on their provision.
  13. Contributing to identifying the training needs of the Deanship’s human resources and coordinating with specialized units to fulfill them.
  14. Preparing periodic reports on the Agency’s achievements and development proposals and submitting them to the Dean of Development and Quality Assurance.
  15. Performing any other tasks within the scope of responsibility.
